Ryan was immersed in home building from a young age when his parents took on their first home addition. This experience sparked a passion for construction that has only grown over the years. Working alongside his father, he absorbed invaluable lessons about the craft. His dad’s methodical and hands-on approach inspired him, often reminding him, “If a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing well.” This wisdom has become the cornerstone of his successful construction career.

Throughout his journey in the industry, he has embraced the idea that being a builder means committing to ongoing growth and improvement. He takes immense pride in his work, coupled with a humble attitude and a relentless work ethic, which has been crucial in refining his skills. The construction field has offered him rich opportunities to develop his expertise through focused practice. Together with his dedicated team, he consistently seeks ways to enhance their processes and the quality of the final product they deliver. Each project is not just a job but an opportunity to create something exceptional! 

Autumn DeCesare

Principal Designer

Autumn’s journey is shaped by her life in South Lake Tahoe, California, where she grew up in a creative family. Her fashion designer mother, award-winning artist grandmother, and custom home-builder father inspired her artistic spirit from a young age.

Autumn explored various art forms as a child and was drawn to her Grandmother art studio, where she admired beautiful paintings and sculptures. Autumn loved working with color, shape, light, and texture, and the encouragement she received helped fuel her passion.

Autumn also enjoyed transforming spaces. She started with minor rearrangements in her room and gradually redesigned areas in her parents’ home. At 13, her father gave her a space planning program, sparking her creativity further. When he remodeled a bedroom for her, she could restyle it every six weeks.

Her creativity led her to a woodshop and drafting class, where she discovered a love for architectural drafting. By 17, she made handmade jewelry and sold it at a local coffee shop, allowing her to travel to various music and art festivals.

In her early twenties, Autumn discovered the Design Institute of San Diego after having her first child. She enrolled in night classes, excelled with a 4.0 GPA, and earned a scholarship. In her third year, her father asked her to design his custom home, teaching her the importance of teamwork with the builders. She later joined Spirit Interior Design in Truckee, California, to further refine her skills.

In 2006, after establishing a solid client base, Autumn launched her own company, DeCesare Design, focusing on custom homes and remodels. She creates spaces that reflect the personalities of those who live in them, inspiring others to embrace their creativity and enjoy the process.

In 2017, after years of creativity and teamwork with her partner Ryan, they launched a design-build partnership, allowing her to bring their dream spaces to life while Ryan expertly managed the construction!
